Drug Rehab Robbed, Two Gunmen at Large

An employee was beaten and held at gunpoint while the business was robbed, a sheriff's official says.

Two men who robbed a Temecula drug rehabilitation center were at large today.

Two men slipped through an unguarded door at A Better Tomorrow at 28765 Single Oak Dr. at 1:16 a.m. Thursday, crept up behind the lone employee on the premises and attacked him, according to sheriffs Sgt. Kevin McDonald.

"The employee was beaten down to the floor and held at gunpoint while the business was robbed," the sergeant wrote in a written report.

The suspects escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, and the victim later sought attention for his injuries, which were minor, McDonald said.

The robbers were men wearing heavy, dark clothing. One was wearing a hooded sweater and the other was wearing a cap that was pulled down low. Both had a medium-to-large build.
