Why are we getting less and less local coverage then?

I read somewhere the Patch closed a bunch of local bureaus.. It seems like Temecula was one of them.

As always, Lee. You open mouth and insert both feet. You really need to do a little research, justRead Morea little. Tem,/Mur. food bank is suppose to take over the Pantry. Unfortunately, They are not going to offer the facility for the use of showers, laundry, or post office for the homeless like it has been for so long. It's basically going to be a food bank for the poor. The homeless will be on their own for the services they once enjoyed. Once more the homeless loose. This city and most of the people involved are taking away any help to/for the most needy. Someone really needs to start reading the bible! And, what happened to the rule we learned during Vietnam: No one should be left behind! God help us. This is wrong...

As an extra side note on the cleanliness issue of service dogs... The law also reads that even aRead MoreTRU E service dog can be asked to leave if it is not clean, or behaving well. The dog is supposed to almost disappear to others. Hence the reason for the training....

This ordinance needs to change so a service vest or other identifier is required and onlyRead Moredistribute d by the state like handicap parking placards. Give people an inch....
Lala Brie April 02, 2014 at 03:42 PM
You are very correct. Several of the groups that represent those with disabilities have beenRead Morelobbyin g for this as the imposters make things incredibly difficult for them. People are getting fed up and as a result those who legitimately need them sometimes get the brunt of this. As I said before, the imposters also put their dogs in jeopardy because service dogs are trained to NOT engage. They are lobbying for a national certification process that will obviously require proof of training, but I agree that even a state level issuance would suffice. The imposters buy the "service" vests for their dogs online, so don't let a vest in and of itself fool you..... that's why this needs to be changed to certified proof. Also, in case people have forgotten... ALL dogs are supposed to have some kind of tags in public... registration.
