This weekend, the Chaparral High School N.J.R.O.T.C. unit hosted the annual sports day, inviting 12 other JROTC units to compete. The cadets competed in various such as volleyball and basketball and also other activities such as sit ups, push ups and tug of war, chaparral's unit received first place in basketball, second in volleyball,and third place in sit ups and basketball throw. Also, Jisko Alveraz (junior) received a first place metal for completing 71 push-ups. Great job to these outstanding cadets.
