Chaparral NJROTC

Two cadets from chaparral High school’s NJROTC unit were selected to represent the school at National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security. The forum, during the week of October 1st through October 6th, was held in Washington DC. Alexander Pallesco (Junior) and Sarah Bushrow (Sophomore) learned how the fields of defense diplomacy, and intelligence related to the protection of our Nations freedom. Sarah Bushrow states she “learned valuable leadership skills from the speakers and instructors” and Alexander Pallesco “ learned how to work with people [he] had never met to achieve a common goal.” Both cadets loved this once in a lifetime opportunity and hope other cadets will have the opportunity to attend the forum. Congratulations to these two outstanding cadets and our nation's future leaders.
