There's still time to sign up for the Saint Thomas golf outing and fundraiser at Journey at Pechanga on Friday, October 11. Start time is 10AM. The outing is open to all. Cost is $100 per golfer. Sign up at episcopalchurchtemecula.org.
Journey at Pechanga is on ancestral land of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians. It has won numerous honors from golfing publications. WorldGolf.com says, “The golf course was carefully carved from the rolling hills that stretch Pechanga Creek to the surrounding mountains. Great care was taken in creating the course in order to preserve the beautiful land that has been home to the Pechanga Tribe for countless generations. Mature California oaks frame most of the holes and the dramatic elevations provide breathtaking views of Temecula Valley..”
Proceeds from this event will benefit the work of St. Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church, including food drives for the Temecula/Murrieta Community Pantry, pet food drives to benefit seniors in the community, and donations to the Rancho Damacitas, a home providing residential treatment services and a therapeutic environment for children who have suffered trauma through abuse or personal circumstances.
Saint Thomas of Canterbury is located at 44651 Avenida de Missiones, Temecula. More information is available at our website (episcopalchurchtemecula.org) or by calling (951)302-4566.
