Preschool Students in Temecula Release Ladybugs in Celebration of Earth Day

Preschoolers at Discovery Isle Child Development Center in Temecula couldn't contain their excitement as they released hundreds of ladybugs in celebration of Earth Day.

With the help of teachers, more than 85 students scattered across the schoolyard to place the tiny creatures onto nearby plants, flowers and trees.

Dressed for the occasion, students wore red and black colors and sported festive ladybug hats. Each Earth Day, students at Discovery Isle release ladybugs as a way to combine learning with fun.
