CHP, Red Cross Hosting Blood Drive Friday in Temecula

Donors are encouraged to stop by the California Highway Patrol Temecula Area office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28.

California Highway Patrol Temecula Area is partnering with American Red Cross to host a blood drive Friday, stating that during the holiday season there is an increased need for blood donations.

The blood drive—part of CHP's partnership with Red Cross for the seventh annual Battle of the Badges—will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at CHP’s Temecula Area office, 27685 Commerce Center Drive in Temecula.

"Not only are you giving the gift of life, you are supporting your local highway patrolmen as they compete to collect donations against other law enforcement and fire agencies," said Temecula Area CHP Officer Nathan Baer.
