Earthquakes Continue To Rattle Riverside, San Diego Counties

Local residents are being rattled by earthquakes as the year closes out in Southern California.

Monday morning residents living on the Riverside-San Diego County line were rocked by a magnitude-3.3 temblor. The quake struck at 10:33 a.m. and was centered approximately 23 miles south of Palm Desert, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Then at 3:44 p.m. Monday, another earthquake was reported two miles southwest of Idyllwild, which registered a magnitude-3.7, the USGS reported.

Neither quake caused any reported damage or injuries.
