Wildfire Growing Fast; Zero Containment

FREEZE WARNING: Brrrr!

Expect overnight temps to dip into the 20s.

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for much of Southern California, including the Inland Empire.

The warning is in effect midnight through 8 a.m. Saturday.

A freeze watch will be in effect from late Saturday night through Sunday morning, according to the NWS.

Temperatures are expected to dip to a chilly 23 to 28 degrees after midnight, the agency reported.

“Sensitive plants and crops may be damaged or killed,” the NWS warned.

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely; a freeze watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible, the NWS reported.

You are right Jenny, it is Winter, and that's why it's cold. I have been in So Cal all my life and its a bit tough to take this really cold weather. I think I only remember 1 or 2 days its been this cold in the past. There could have been more and I just don't remember, but thits is still too cold for too long :/ for these old bones.

The east coast is unseasonably warm at the moment. I'm hoping my avocado trees don't die tonight. Lake Elsinore's extreme weather seems to be getting more extreme.

Hopefully there'll be some Christian charity about, and maybe the churches and the members of the congregation will open their doors to those who need shelter, food and warmth.

Your right Julian. How is it New York, where it snows every year, is warmer than Temecula, where it snows like what is it every 7 years or something? But, be happy. I'm a Mormon high schooler who has to go to seminary every morning. Depending on your job, most of you get to sleep in until 6:30 to 7. It's freezing every morning.
