High Winds Continue Around Temecula Valley

NWS expects gusts to be strongest in mountains and passes for remainder of the evening, while showers diminish.

The National Weather Service in San Diego has extended a high wind warning through midnight, and keeps a high wind watch in effect through Wednesday afternoon.

Showers are expected  to taper off as the evening progresses.

Winds of 25-35 miles per hour will continues though the evening with gusts of up to 65 possible.

Driving will be difficult for high profile vehicles along I-15, and all drivers are warned to watch for broken tree limbs, blowign debris and possible downed power lines.
