Queens Take Centerstage In Temecula

In order for a queen to take over a throne, one must fall while the other rises to the occasion.

Travel back to a time when two queens battle during a theatrical production of Mary Stuart in Temecula Wine Country.

The story from Friedrich Schiller is featured in a new version from Peter Oswald at Europa Winery's Shakespeare in the Vines, Feb. 15 to 17 and again 22 to 24.

The play is set as Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, is imprisoned in England for 18 years by her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I. Watch the story unfold as the two queens meet during espionage, find lost love, attempt assassinations, and battle for the crown.
