Maximizing Retirement Income Discussed At Upcoming Temecula Public Library Workshop

A Temecula-based financial planning company is offering some suggestions during a free workshop titled “Savvy Social Security Planning: What Baby Boomers Need to Know to Maximize Retirement Income," which has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Temecula Public Library. 

Dubots Capital Management, which has organized the event, says questions to be addressed will include:

 How can I maximize my benefits? 

 Will Social Security be enough to live on in retirement? 

According to Dubots, the workshop will cover:

 Why you should always check your earnings record for accuracy 

 How to estimate your benefits 

 How to coordinate benefits with your spouse 

 How to minimize taxes on Social Security benefits 

 How to coordinate Social Security with your other sources of retirement income
