Hot air balloon ride

Hot air balloons are the unofficial symbol of Temecula, and they’re the ideal way to see the region. On a clear day, the ocean is visible in the distance, and Lake Skinner, Vail Lake and Lake Elsinore seem to be a stone’s throw away.

Tickets typically range between $100 to $200 depending on the date and how many tickets bought. Many of the B&Bs have deals worked out with the balloon companies for package deals.

Temecula wine

If Temecula’s not known for its balloons, it’s known for its wine. Temecula has more than two dozen wineries, and a typical bottle will cost around $30, but they vary widely.
