Temecula Valley Hospital to Host Community Celebration Saturday

TEMECULA CA – Mark your calendars and join in the excitement as the new Temecula Valley Hospital is unveiled on Saturday, August 10, 2013, beginning at 9 a.m.

Celebrate the completion of the new hospital with 140 private patient rooms, emergency care, high–tech surgery suites, advanced diagnostic technology, and local art.  With its unique amenities and services, the hospital will transform healthcare in Temecula and the surrounding communities.

The Temecula Valley Hospital Community Open House will run ALL DAY LONG! There will be refreshments, giveaways, tours of the hospital, and a chance to meet the staff.

A variety of special activities will be available for every member of the family. The youngest will enjoy a Kids Zone with lots of fun, healthy activities and refreshments. Adults can meet the staff at the department booths under the canopy. 

Medication cards, blood pressure screenings, and information on the services provided from each of 14 departments will be available.

The Safety Fair features representatives and equipment from the fire department, police department, CHP, and AMR Ambulance.

Several non-profit organizations will offer healthful information at their booths.

Tours will start every 15 minutes, from 9:00 a.m. until 6:45 p.m.

Parking for the Community Open House will be available at the Rancho Community Church at 31300 Rancho Community Way or at the lot on the corner of Santiago Road and Ynez Road. Free shuttles will be provided, including handicap accessible shuttles. There will be no parking available at Temecula Valley Hospital.
