Temecula Welcomes New Mercedes-Benz Dealership With Ribbon Cutting, Grand Opening

The following is a news release from the city of Temecula: 

The City of Temecula is pleased to welcome the opening of its newest auto dealer, Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz of Temecula. The 50,000 square foot dealership, conveniently located off Ynez Road, just north of Harveston, is officially open for business. City Officials welcomed the dealership during a recent ribbon cutting ceremony. City of Temecula Mayor Maryann Edwards says, “Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz Temecula delivers the utmost in quality and service, elements that Temecula residents have come to expect. We are very proud that Fletcher Jones chose Temecula to build their latest enterprise! ”

Mercedes-Benz expects to have an inventory of 600 new and pre-owned vehicles, including large commercial vans. The dealership features 30 service bays all housed in a fully air conditioned area that can service 75-100 cars per day. The separate 5,000 square foot detail/vacuum area can service eight cars at once. The dealership will also have extended service hours to accommodate working professionals.

“The Temecula dealership is the mark of a new chapter in the Fletcher Jones history and for the Mercedes-Benz brand” says Bob Yeatman, General Manager MBUSA Western Division. Fletcher Jones Motorcars Group is the number one volume Mercedes-Benz dealership in the nation.

Under the direction of Garth Blumenthal, Co-Owner of Mercedes-Benz Temecula, the dealership is opening with about 50 staff, including General Manager Antony Chandler. “I am very impressed with Temecula and the people here,” said Chandler. “There couldn’t be a better place to open up a dealership!”
