The National Weather Service has issued an urgent weather advisory, letting the public know that a wind advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. tonight.
According to the NWS, a north flow that followed yesterday’s storm is bringing strong, gusty winds throughout Southern California Monday.
Gusts are expected to reach 55 mph, the NWS reported.
“The winds will make driving difficult, especially for motorists with high profile vehicles,” the NWS said Monday. “Watch for broken tree limbs and downed power lines.”
An NWS advisory means that winds of at least 35 mph are expected.
