WEATHER: Expect Rain, Possible Thundershowers

The gray skies over Southwest Riverside County will bring a possibility of thundershowers this week, the National Weather Service is predicting.

According to the agency, a storm over the Pacific Northwest will move southward, keeping skies cloudy through Tuesday and bringing a 60 percent chance of rain likely after 10 p.m. Wednesday and through Thursday. Thunderstorms are possible after 10 a.m. Thursday, according to the NWS.

Winds will be light and variable during the wet weather, and daytime highs are predicted to reach the high 50s to low 60s. Overnight lows are expected to hover in the high 40s to around 50 degrees, the NWS reported.
