Reduced Prices On Food Available To Area Residents In Need

The local food bank now offers a co-op grocery program.

Western Eagle Foundation announced Tuesday that it will celebrate its 20th anniversary this year with a new partnership.

The Temecula-based food bank has partnered with Golden Share Foods on its new co-op grocery program.

The program will allow individuals and families to save up to 40 percent off of their monthly grocery bill. Food box options include basic, veggie, breakfast, lunch, steak, mega meats and seafood, and range from $20 to $36 per box. Additional benefits of the program include:

“For years we have been able to fulfill our mission to feed the hungry through our Project Food Box program," Western Eagle Foundation CEO Todd Sieja said. "By combining our efforts with Golden Share Foods, our outreach opportunities multiply and customers receive more options and benefits.”
