Day Named After Marine, Triple Amputee

A concert, organized by Gary Sinise of CSI: New York fame, is planned to benefit the wounded marine outside the Civic Center in Temecula.

The City of Temecula wants Marine Cpl. Juan Dominguez to be its Valentine.

The city will hold a ceremony to declare tomorrow "We Love Juan Dominguez Day" during a ceremony outside the in Old Town.

The 27-year-old Dominguez is a triple amputee wounded in Afghanistan. Gary Sinise, a lead actor in CSI: New York, is organizing a concert in Temecula to benefit the soldier, who plans to move to the city.

The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. and will include an appearance by the Patriot Guard Riders, Danny "America's Singing Cop" Rodriguez, a marching band and other veterans.
