Originally presented for television and starring the incomparable Julie Andrews in the lead role in 1957, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein III fashioned a tale that speaks to all generations and people of all backgrounds.

Despite being given a poor hand by fate, Cinderella (Cassandra Thorpe) looks at life with a positive attitude and a belief in the goodness of all people. Her evil stepmother (Kaitlyn Erickson) treats her like a second-class citizen while her cruel and graceless sisters Joy (Nina Sheridan) and Grace (Kieryn Thompson) only make life miserable for her. Thankfully, Cinderella has many people in her corner, including her Fairy Godmother (Samantha Shroll), who works her fairytale magic in order to get Cinderella to the ball and convince her that anything’s possible. There, she meets and falls in love with the handsome Prince (Brian Erickson). She must hastily leave the ball as the spell ends at midnight, so will Cinderella ever see the Prince again?
