Dorland Mountain Arts Colony Open Studio Day

OPEN STUDIOS at the Arts Colony is a great opportunity to visit the grounds behind the gates and take a peek at what Dorland is all about. Homesteaded in the early 1930s, Dorland has been called home by more than 1200 resident artists who have traveled to the hills of Temecula for their working retreat to make art, write, author their book, compose music and more. August 28 you can come up and tour the grounds, which is also a protected Nature Preserve, view inside the cottages, listen to live music, watch plein artists paint under the oak grove and speak to the resident artists about their accomplishments while staying at Dorland.
