Musical Theater Day Camp

Musical Theatre Camp at TVCD is brought to you by Temecula Performing Arts Company; the Resident Youth Theatre Company of the Old Town Temecula Theater.  At our Day Camp, campers will learn and play in a safe non-competitive environment where they can immerse themselves in the thrill of performance. 

During each “themed” week, the campers will focus on developing skills necessary for auditioning and working in local community and regional theater.  These skills will be taught during short and varied themed workshops designed to entertain, enthuse and hold their interest.  Each week will culminate in an exciting “MOCK” Broadway-Style Audition presentation for the parents.

WEEK ONE:  JULY 9 – 13

“BLAST FROM THE PAST”

A more contemporary themed workshop week featuring music from such shows as “GREASE”, “HAIRSPRAY”, “LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS”, “MAMA MIA and more~

WEEK TWO:  JULY 16 – 20

“RODGERS AND WHO???”

A look at more traditional musical theater including music and scene work from:  “Oklahoma!”,  “Sound of Music”,“Fiddler on the Roof”, “Peter Pan” and more…

COST:  $150 per week  ($250 if you sign up for BOTH)
