Local Actress, Disabled Activist Featured in Commercial

Lisa Zion, a Temecula advocate for disabled actors, appears in the newest Starbucks commercial.

Lisa Zion, a Temecula actress and advocate for disabled performers, appeared in Starbucks' latest commercial. She aplays a farm worker turning the crank of a machine that removes the beans from the coffee cherries during the 17th second of the commercial.

She caught polio when she was 9 months old and was disabled. She does not let that stop her from landing roles on television regularly and appearing at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater. She recently appeared in "Real Women Have Curves" and "The Vagaina Monologues."
