Want to share Temecula’s history with others?

The Temecula Valley Museum in Old Town is looking for volunteer guides to walk with visitors and residents through the city’s historic quarter.

The guides share stories about Old Town and point out historical landmarks.

Interested volunteers are asked to meet up at 9 a.m. June 8 at the museum located at 28314 Mercedes Street. Refreshments and information on becoming a walking tour guide will be available.

Then at 10 a.m., a walking tour will commence and would-be volunteers can watch and hear experienced docent Dale Garcia lead visitors and residents through town.

Not interested in becoming a guide but want to take the tour? Come on down to the museum at 10 a.m. to join the group! The cost for non-volunteers is $2.
