Rancho Community Church Offers Patriotic Show

Patriotic program honors the military and helps local homeless ministry.

A patriotic show at a local church aims to pay homage to soldiers on this nation's birthday.

A full choir and orchestra are scheduled to perform at Rancho Community Church during a performance titled “Let Freedom Ring 2011 – the Heart of Freedom” at 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Active duty and retired military are encouraged to come in uniform as the community thanks them for their service during the “Salute to the Armed Forces” portion of the program.

“This is a great time for people to come together with family and friends to celebrate America,“ said Marck McKay, the program director, “It’s a great way to kick off the Fourth of July weekend.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and there is free child care available. There is no cost but donations will be accepted for Project TOUCH, a local ministry for the homeless. Rancho Community Church is located at 3130 Rancho Community Way, Temecula. Information: 951-303-6789 or .
