Statue to Be Donated to City in Honor of Late Theater Director

The founding head of the Old Town Temecula Community Theater died last year, and a statue commemorating him is scheduled to be donated to the city tonight.

A statue commemorating the late director of the is scheduled to be presented to the city tonight.

The presentation is slated for 7 p.m. tonight at the in Old Town, just up the street from the theater that Bruce Beers helped create.

He was the founding head of the theater, and was credited with much of its success in its first years.
