Temecula Man Holds Ground on 'The Voice'

Another Temecula local lands a spot on the reality show for musicians.

 

Temecula folk-rock musician Lee Koch held his ground on NBC's "The Voice" Monday night.

His rendition of Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone" caught the attention of judge Christina Aguilera. As she hit a button in front of her chair lighting up a sign reading "I want you," his family jumped and hugged each other.

"Your voice, it spoke to me," Aguilera said to the musician.

This comes less than a year after another Temecula local, Xenia, made it far on the same show before losing her place.

Koch gave up music and became a baker before the show, he told Aguilera on the show, though his success on the show gave him new motivation.

"This was kind of my last shot, and by you picking me, and by you picking me, you're continuing my musical persuit," he said.
