Temecula's 'Bloodshed Brothers' Ready To Scare Southwest Riverside County Again

Once again, The Diamond Stadium in Lake Elsinore is being converted into the scariest place in Riverside County as the annual Field Of Screams gets underway Sept. 28 and running through Halloween.

The brothers are working in conjunction with Storm Events and Twisted Scare to bring the event to Lake Elsinore. Twisted Scare, owned and operated by Jon Parry & Family, brings a new twist and collaborates with The Bloodshed Brothers to vastly increase the level of fright, the organizers say.

 “With such a great turn out last year, we knew an expansion to Field of Screams was a must,” Storm Events General Manager Bruce Kessman said. “With the creativity of Jon and Twisted Scare and our continued successful relationship with The Bloodshed Brothers we have made this year’s Haunted Stadium even bigger and better.”

The Field of Screams is designed to frighten thrill seekers ages 12 and older. Younger children will be admitted at the discretion of a parent or guardian.

This year’s mazes, totaling over 10,000 square feet, include: 

-          Horsemen Hotel: Check-in to this horrifying hotel, as the cavalry fright with each floor of the hotel. Be sure to tip the bell boy when you step into the working elevator.

-          Uncle Chuckle’s Fun House: Explore this 3-D House of Mirrors-style circus tent in a new and twisted way.

-          Maniac Manor: this 19th Century asylum became an overcrowded Gothic palace of abuse and neglect where the mentally ill were stashed away and forgotten… until now.

-          Tomb of Terror: This Tomb is a dungeon beneath an abandoned graveyard deep in the forest. It’s not the darkness that will scare you; it’s what waits within it.

-          Hillbilly Hell: Head into the mountains where these mutant rednecks cause panic and fear throughout this maze you might never get out of.

Also there will be a coffin ride simulator, “the last ride” to give patrons a frightening sensory experience of being buried alive, according to event organizers.

The Field of Screams will also offer concessions and the sale of beer during the event.

Field of Screams will operate Thursday through Sunday in October, including Halloween night. Hours are: 7-10 p.m. Thursdays and Sundays; 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. On Monday, October 21, Field of Screams will be open for "Haunters Night," a chance for other area Haunted House patrons/employees to enjoy a scare or two.

Tickets are $15 for regular admission or $25 V.I.P. pass that includes: skip-the-line wristband, 3-D glasses and a coffin ride all available now at the Storm’s ticket office or online at hauntedstadium.com.
