Old Town Revs Up for Rod Run

The annual car show is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday.


The annual Rod Run car show is slated for Thursday to Saturday in Old Town.

The car show attracts more than 70,000 people each year and aims to raise funds for local charities, according to organizers.

More than 700 pre-1974 vehicles are expected to be on display.

The event will kick off Thursday with a silent auction at the on Jefferson Avenue. The public will have a chance to win a custom Harley Davidson made in the in Old Town. Tickets will be available at the hotel on Thursday and Friday.

The event will go into full swing on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. with a car cruise on Old Town Front Street.

The vehicles will be on display from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
