AT&T Debuts New Home-Monitoring Service in Temecula

Riverside County is one of 15 markets across the country to offer the new security and home-automation service.

Temecula is one of the first markets in the country for AT&T’s Digital Life, a home-management system that allows customers to monitor their home online and be alerted when something goes wrong.

While the system can remotely unlock doors, check the temperature of the home, view live video and more, the foundation of Digital Life is security, said Kevin Peterson, senior vice president of Digital Life. U.S.-based monitoring centers work 24/7 and alert fire and police in case of an emergency.

“We know how important security is to our customers, and this was our top priority when we set out to build Digital Life,” Petersen said. “People rely on their mobile devices more than ever, so Digital Life offers an easy and convenient way to secure their homes, protect their families and simplify their lives from virtually anywhere.”
