Black Friday In Southwest Riverside County: Worth The Hassle?

While many people were in their warm homes finishing up turkey dinners late Thursday night and into early Friday morning, others stood in long lines to get much anticipated retail deals.

Black Friday got off to an early start as many stores across Southwest Riverside County opened their doors on Thanksgiving night.

Shoppers started lining up on Tuesday at Best Buy in Murrieta, forming a small city of tents to get those door-buster deals. Temecula Promenade saw thousands of shoppers Thursday evening and most stores were open by midnight, while the Lake Elsinore Outlets opening Thursday night at 10 p.m.
