Gas Prices Continue to Fall for Holiday Travelers

Pain at the pump eases for local residents traveling in and out of Temecula Valley for the Fourth of July holiday.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline has dropped to its lowest level since January in Riverside County to $3.719. Todays national average is $3.326 according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
Countywide pump prices have decreased for 41 consecutive days. RiversideGasPrices.com reported this morning Temecula’s lowest fuel price was $3.57 at  Costco located at 26610 Ynez Rd & Promenade Mall.
According to news sources the Automobile Club of Southern California is reporting the lower prices at the pump stem from lower crude oil prices that dropped because of a down global economy.
