Gas Prices Expected To Continue Decreasing Through 2013
An industry spokesman said the downward slide should continue through December provided there are no refinery issues or unexpected incidents.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped to its lowest amount since Jan. 28 today, falling seven-tenths of a cent to $3.725.
The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties has decreased for 37 consecutive days and is 3.2 cents less than one week ago, 23.5 cents lower than one month ago and 59 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has fallen 28.8 cents during the 37-day streak of declining prices, including nine-tenths of a cent on Thursday.

The streak is the longest since a 52-day streak in May 22-July 12, 2012.
"Heading into November and December, there should be more downward pressure on gas prices provided there are no refinery issues or other incidents because those months see lower fuel demand and the cheaper winter blend of fuel is being sold in California," said Jeffrey Spring of the Automobile Club of Southern California. --City News Service
