Actor Jack Klugman’s Wine Country Estate for Sale

The Wine Country estate includes breeding stables, a tennis court, a swimming pool, numerous guesthouses and a five-hole golf course.

A 40-acre Wine Country estate built by actor Jack Klugman went on sale for $8,299,000.

The estate, called Hacienda de Endar, sits on De Portola Road. It was built in the 1980s by the actor best known for his role as Oscar Madison in 1970s “The Odd Couple,” and for his leading roles in “Days of Wine and Roses” (1962), “12 Angry Men” (1957) and the television series “Quincy, M.E.” (1976-83).

The Spanish-style hacienda includes a 8,902-square-foot main house with four bedrooms and 5 ½ bathrooms, a guest house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, three smaller guest homes with two bedrooms and a bathroom and two guest apartments with one bedroom and a bathroom.

The estate also includes a five-hole golf course, a tennis court, a swimming pool with a spa, a Koi pond, a 14-stall barn and attached office, an 18-stall barn with two tack rooms, an eight-stall covered mare motel, six pipe stalls, a vet clinic, a hay barn, several jumping arenas and grassy pastures. All 40 acres are fully irrigated.
