3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Temecula

The epicenter was in the rural region between Anza and Hemet.

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake shook Temecula today.

The earthquake struck at 10:45 p.m. in eastern Winchester, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake came only three days after a 2.0 earthquake struck less than five miles to the west in Winchester, according to the survey.
