Deadline Nears to Assign a Reporter

If you've ever wanted to know how it feels to be the boss of a news service, now's your chance.

The deadline for Temecula Patch's "Assign a Reporter" contest is tomorrow.

You send us a question, and we'll research it, write it, publish it and credit you with the idea. Plus, you'll win some pretty cool Patch knickknacks.

So, if you want to assign one of our reporters to write your story, send it in before midnight on Friday to the editor, Peter Surowski, at peter.surowski@patch.com.

This is the second time we held this contest. Last time, it resulted in a great story about how many illegal immigrant were arrested in the Temecula area in the last year.
