Firefighters used the ‘jaws of life’ to free the driver Sunday morning.

A motorist was trapped in his vehicle Sunday when it rolled at a corner near Temecula, a spokeswoman said.

Firefighters pried the vehicle open with a hydraulic tool, and freed the driver from the crashed car at Pala Road and Rainbow Oaks Drive at about 8:46 a.m., Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said.

The driver was taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. It was not known how the rollover crash unfolded.

Good note on moderate injuries :) Quite an accident to come through in good shape especially in this horrid weather.
