Get Out: Five Ideas for Your Weekend

Do a good deed, read a great book and sing your heart out this weekend

The weekend is here again and it brings with it another chance to live life well. This weekend you can help your neighbors, admire flawless vintage rides, and meet a charming author.

When/Where: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this today and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday along Old Town Front Street in Temecula

Why Go: The Friday Night Cruise is a fun parade of gleaming vintage cars. On Saturday, you can get a look at the cars up close. There will also be great food, music and a festive atmosphere.

Why Go: Choose a handmade ceramic bowl, eat a delicious soup dinner and take the bowl home, all for a good cause. Proceeds go to Temecula Community Pantry, Temecula-Murrieta Rescue Mission and Food for the Poor in Haiti and Heifer International.
