Local Actor, Disabled Activist in New Play
She'll be in the Wizard of Oz until the end of October.
A local actor and disabled activist will be performing in a new play this month.
Lisa Zion will play the role of Munchkin Barrister until Oct. 29 at the Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton.
She will be dancing, which is difficult because of her disability.

"I am excited about the role, and it is challenging, because we are dancing and singing… and the folks do not know that I have a disability," she said about the play. "That is fine with me, because I have to prove myself as an actor just like everyone else who was hired for this production."
