Seriously? Religious freedom? What about the people who don't wanna have 20 kids...what about there freedom? Offering birth control isn't forcing some1 to use it..its helping someone who needs or wants it. If you don't want to use it cause its against your religion..than don't.

alissab.. really? you are entitled to your thoughts and now here is mine. Its never fair to kill a baby because you forgot birth control. The government should not have to pay for anyones birth control if you can't afford it ... its simple . no sex!

Wait. So, Cathy "I'm So Fair and Balanced", in your limited and closed-minded opinion (bless your heart...expand! Don't be afraid of a little daisy chain action!!!), any woman that forgets their government-bought birth control AND becomes pregnant, MUST be getting an abortion. Well, anyone with a hyphenated name MUST be a feminist. "Polarizing. It's what we do best." - The Anglos

Cathy - The government wouldn't be paying for the birth control, YOU wouldn't be paying for it the person who is insured will be paying for it as well as the insurance company. And to carry your point out a bit further, why should someone who doesn't want or have kids have to pay for people who have kids? Tax dollars to schools, welfare, food stamps and medical. Should I continue? What about a person who doesn't own a car but has tax dollars spent on roads? This is something that the government or tax dollars DO NOT pay for. This will be like you getting your antibiotic for an ear infection. It is paid with a co-pay. Come on now and do your homeowrk and not just regurgitate the religous right or your uninformed friends.

If you want to use it, buy it. Or work for a company that offers it as a perk but do not mandate that it be provided by those who believe otherwise. This is not about birth control. It is about the government not operating within the constitution. It is about the president attempting to control every aspect of our lives by illegal executive orders. No one is stopping you from using birth control. If you can't afford it, try self control, it can serve the same purpose.

Cathy, yes as you point out ABSTINENCE is the BEST FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL. Are you really that ignorant to think that it works? It has been proven over and over again that it Does Not work. I for one, am so tired of judgmental people trying to mandate what i can and cant do. Stay out of my business and out of my bedroom...

Susan, It's about separation of church and state. Have you heard about that one. It's been around for hundreds of years and just for you to know - a little history lesson (apparently you were sleeping in that class) the Constitution is considered a living document. That means it is to be interpreted and massaged to change with the times and the environment. So, maybe you should go read the constitution and then attempt to make a valid argument for your opinion - not some right wing, fear mongering, fact resistant idea-logs.

Just to let you in on a FACT. An embryo is not a 'baby'. You or anyone or anything else has NO Business making moral judgments or mandating the behavior of another. If you are so backwards and blinded by your lack of knowledge let that ONLY affect you and your decisions, NOT MINE.

Oh my goodness...are you serious??? if you can't afford birth control -- then don't have sex? Really? By that standard men who suffer from ED should not be covered for Viagra. Good grief. BC should be covered by all insurance plans for the sake of women's health. I really worry about the status of women in this country and I'm shocked by the women who encourage the idea of making birth control harder to get for the people who really need access to it. It's absolutely crazy.
