Temecula Braces For Frosty Night

Frost advisory to go into effect at 10 p.m. Sunday through 10 a.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

A frost advisory was in effect Sunday night through early Monday morning in Temecula.

The advisory, which goes into effect at 10 p.m. Sunday through 10 a.m. Monday, is on the tails of a cold winter storm that brought rain and hail to Temecula Saturday.

The overnight low should be around 28 degrees, the National Weather Service reported. Monday's high is expected to be in the mid-to-low 60s.

Growers were warned to take precaution against the below freezing temperatures.

The NWS encouraged residents to protect frost-sensitive plants and bring potted flowers and vegetables indoors.
