The local law enforcement officer says he plans on saving the money for his kids.

A Temecula man is celebrating a big win from a local casino, having scored a jackpot worth more than $106,000 this weekend.

According to Pechanga Resort & Casino officials, CHP Officer Brett Mollers won $106,279.50 on a slot machine this Sunday.

"Brett stopped into Pechanga Sunday morning and played the winning machine for only about 20 minutes until on his next spin, three winning symbols lined up across the center of the screen," Spokeswoman Ciara Green told Patch.

According to Green, Mollers said he'll be setting the money aside for his kids.

Mollers was playing the 5 Times Ten Times pay machine when he won.
