Clouds, Cold and Showers Through Weekend

Today kicked off a gloomy week in Temecula.

 

Today’s cold, gloom and showers will stay until Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

The chance of showers today is 20 percent, but it will go up to 30 tomorrow evening and to 40 by Friday, according to a forecast.

The chance will then recede to 30 percent by Friday night and stay there through Saturday. That evening, rain will be unlikely and the clouds should break up, according to the forecast.

Sunday should be mostly sunny, according to the Weather Service.

The temperature should dip to 48 degrees tonight with light winds, but tomorrow will get colder, with a high of 58, a low of 41 and 15 to 20 mph winds and gusts around 30 mph. Saturday will be just as cold, with a high of 56 and a low of 42.

On Sunday, the temperature will jump up with a high of 66 and a low of 46, the forecast stated.
