Congratulations to the Temecula Valley Woman’s Club 2013 scholarship recipients. Twenty graduating seniors from the Temecula and Murrieta public schools have won $1,000 scholarships to help them attend college.
The awards are part of their commitment to celebrating community and education. Each student was honored and spoke briefly about themselves and their future plans at the club’s monthly meeting on May 16, 2013 at Temeku Hills Country Club.

The club received a thank you note and a $25 donation to the scholarship fund from one of last year’s winners. A quote from her note said, there is an old Chinese proverb, “when you drink the water, remember the spring.”
The club’s annual fundraiser for scholarships and charitable interests, the Holiday Home Tour, is set for Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17. The opening night Gala will be Saturday, October 26.
