County Recruiting Poll Workers, Bilingual Speakers for June Election

Poll workers may earn up to $125 as precinct inspectors or $90 as precinct officers.

From the Riverside County Office of the Registrar:

Poll workers are needed at voting locations throughout Riverside County for the June 3 Consolidated Primary Election.

No experience is required and training will be provided by the Registrar of Voters office.  Poll workers may earn up to $125 as precinct inspectors or $90 as precinct officers.

Poll workers must attend a special two-and-a-half hour training class to familiarize themselves with election procedures and to prepare them to assist voters when the polls open at 7:00 a.m. on Election Day.  Workers in both posts also receive $20 for attending the training class.

The Riverside County Registrar of Voters is also seeking bilingual individuals who speak proficient English and one of the following languages: Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, or Vietnamese.

Anyone who wishes to participate as a poll worker should call the Registrar of Voters’ office at (951) 486-7341 or (877) 663-9906.

I did not mean that as an insult to Alek - he and I have had our go-rounds but we respect each other. Just stating the facts for those who don't know. I actually think he has thought through his political position rather well, and he has a valid viewpoint. I just don't like it when people maliciously state things to hurt people and we go rounds about that. **** Jeremiah

English is not the official language of the US. I suggest everyone learns Esperanto.

I suggest everyone that does not want to be religated to low paying jobs learn English.
