Local Group Hosting Senate Candidate Forum

Candidates for the newly redrawn Senate 28th District, Bonnie Garcia, Glenn Miller and Jeff Stone are expected to speak at Friday's Murrieta-Temecula Republican Assembly meeting.

The Murrieta-Temecula Republican Assembly hosts its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 in the Temecula Civic Center Conference Room.

Expected to attend the meeting and participate in a candidate forum are candidates for the newly redrawn Senate 28th District, Bonnie Garcia, Glenn Miller and Jeff Stone.

The new Senate District encompasses parts of Corona, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, French Valley, Indio, Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs and Blythe.

The dinner meeting and check in begins at 6 p.m. with the forum expected to commence at 7 p.m.

Members of the public are welcome to attend at a cost of $20. Students under 25 pay $10.

The Temecula Civic Center is located at 41000 Main Street, Temecula, Calif.
