CHS BAND PANCAKE BREAKFAST & SHOE DRIVE

The Chaparral High School Platinum Sound and Emerald Color Guard will host a pancake breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, June 14, 9 AM – 11 AM, at the school, in the  lunch area.  Cost is $3 per person or $10 for a family of four. Entertainment will be provided. The band and guard also are collecting old shoes from now through 11 AM on June 14.  Proceeds from both events will support the school’s music program.

Footwear of all sizes and all types, including sneakers, boots, cleats, flip flops, work boots, and steel-toed shoes, are requested. Donations from the community may be dropped off during the pancake breakfast or, for those who cannot attend, will be picked up. Email pumasband@gmail.com to schedule a pick-up time.  Donated shoes will be processed and shipped to needy children and adults in Third World countries. The band and guard will be compensated based on the total pounds of footwear collected.

The Platinum Sound & Emerald Color Guard Parent Support Group is a member of the Chaparral High School Education Foundation, a 501(c) 3, nonprofit foundation established to support CHS students and staff.

Chaparral High School is located at 27215 Nicolas Road, Temecula. For further information, contact Brenda Coalter, pumasband@gmail.com or call 951-699-2125.
