TEEN CERT (Community Emergency Response Training)

Teen Community Emergency Response Training January 18-20, 2013


What is TEEN CERT? TEEN CERT is a training program that prepares you to help yourself, your family, and your community in the event of a disaster. During an incident, emergency service personnel may not be able to reach everyone right away. By being trained in Teen CERT, you will have the skills to help emergency responders, save lives, and protect property. South West Riverside County and Riverside County Fire Office of Emergency Services is sponsoring this 3-day training.


WHO IS IT FOR? 9th to 12th graders who want to be prepared to help themselves, their families and neighbors in time of disaster. This is a great opportunity to gain 20 hours of community service as well!

WHERE WILL IT BE? Community Recreation Center 30875 Rancho Vista Road Temecula 92592 *Some of the activities will be conducted at: 32364 Overland Trail, Temecula


WHEN WILL IT BE? 3 day training: • Friday, January 18, 5:30 am to 9:30 pm • Saturday, January 19, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm • Sunday, January 20, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Dinner will be provided on Friday Lunch will be provided Saturday and Sunday.
