Free Arts & Crafts for Kids - Valentine's Day Edition!

Second Saturdays: Free Family Art Discoveries
Once every month, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido's Education department offers free art and dance activities to engage and entertain the whole family. The one- to two-hour classes, held in Studios 1 and 3, explore art or movement. The Center provides the materials--attendees just bring their creativity!

The next Second Saturdays session will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 8. Since it is the month of love, February's workshop will feature a Valentine's Day theme. Families will be able to create Valentine's Day cards using printmaking techniques, build a heart-adorned door wreath and craft a bouquet of paper flowers--all while listening to classical music from the Romantic era. So sweet!

All ages are welcome. No pre-registration is required. Just show up and have fun!
