Great Oak Winter Guard Camp

Middle School Students are invited to participate in a color guard camp in which they will learn a dance and flag routine, and perform it with the GOHS Guard.  The camp takes place at Great Oak High School and will begin in room 920 with registration.  

CAMP COST

The cost of the camp is $60.  Included in the price is a camp shirt, their very own flag and pole, instruction and the performance.  Forms of Payment include cash, check (made payable to GOALS), or Visa or Master Card.

At registration students along with their parent or guardian will need to complete a permission slip.  While there, they will receive a shirt, flag, a camp schedule, as well as a performance day schedule.

PARKING & PARENT INFO.

It is highly recommended that parents park in the Stadium Parking lot at Great Oak High School and proceed to room 920 (hallway across from the GOHS Gym).  We will have signs up directing you to this room.  Parents are welcome to stay through rehearsal, or you may come and go at your leisure.

REHEARSAL PREPAREDNESS

Rehearsals will take place inside the GOHS Dance Rooms; and the Performance will take place in the Gym.  All campers should plan to wear athletic clothing (comfortable & flexible), along with athletic shoes with socks.  Please bring a water bottle or cooler full of water with you to rehearsal.

SATURDAY PERFORMANCE

The performance on Saturday is free and open to the public (please invite your friends & family).  The doors will open at 4 PM, with the performance beginning at 4:30 PM.  The Color Guard Campers will be wearing their camp shirt and shorts or pants (TBD based on weather) for the performance.

*January 31st: 6-8 PM

*February 1st: 2- 5:30 PM

(Practice 2-4 PM & Performance @ 4:30 PM)
